SIPC 中国年文化主题活动

不知不觉中,学期已经接近尾声。SIPC在学期末开展了中国年文化主题活动。各个年级的师生一起动手给教室换了装扮,换上了充满中国新春特色的装饰,校园里洋溢着节日的氛围。

来感受一下我们的中国年文化主题活动吧,看中外师生如何一起过一个中国年!

在上午的活动中,各个年级都开设了自己的中国年主题工作坊,孩子们不仅可以在各个工作坊里学习到中国传统节日文化,而且还可以亲自体验一番。

幼稚园的老师们开设了剪纸工作坊,一张张红色的窗花在孩子们灵巧的手中悄然绽。

一年级的老师们开设了书法工作坊。孩子们跟着老师一起写春联。

二年级的老师们开设了中国舞龙工作坊。在工作坊内,老师向孩子们介绍了中国舞龙的三种形式,并带着孩子们一起做了纸杯舞龙。

三年级的老师开设了脸谱工作坊。孩子们了解到了中国戏曲中的脸谱不同的图案代表着不同的行当,

表现着不同的性格和特点。在此基础上,孩子们展开奇思妙想设计各式各样的脸谱。

四年级的老师们开设了中国结工作坊。看似繁琐的中国结,在老师的讲解下,孩子们已经可以轻松上手,打出的结像模像样。

五年级的老师们开设了中国灯笼工作坊。孩子们在老师的带领下用粘土做出了一盏盏漂亮的小灯笼。

The Chinese New Year Party at SIPC was thoroughly enjoyed by all members of the Kindergarten class.

Each new room offered us an exciting and interesting activity to complete. From dragon cup making to

painting Chinese calligraphy. It was an exhilarating morning. The afternoon was followed with dumpling

making and games. Finally accumulating with some amazing Chinese traditional songs and instrumental

performances by each grade group. It was an all round successful day representing

the school as a community. KG are already looking forward to the next SIPC event!

The festivities on Friday was an excellent portrayal of the SIPC community. The children were in

their elements completing a vast array of culture immersive and creative activities, including masks, calligraphy and

dragons. I found making dumplings very exciting as I had never done it before, my students quickly became the teacher.

The students performed their songs with pride and enthusiasm, encompassing the whole audience

into their performances. Can't wait to be a part of the next SIPC celebration. Congratulations to everyone.

在“写春联”活动中,学生们都表现出很高的热情。当他们知道“挥春”“春联”都是将祝福带回家之后,

更是绞尽脑汁地发挥自己的奇思妙想,设计出各具特色的“福”。低年段孩子们有好些字不会写,

高年段的哥哥姐姐们热心及耐心地帮助他们完成自己的作品。看着他们都将自己的“祝福”带回家,心里都是满满的。

The students enjoyed a day full of cultural festivities during our SIPC celebration of Chinese New Year and

Spring Festial. The students participated in making lanterns, tieing knots, calligraphy, dragon cup making,

paper cutting and dumpling making. They also performed traditional chinese songs and poems. Not only did the students

get to immerse themselves in their cultural, they were eager to teach their foreign teachers about the culture and help them

partake in the activities as well. The students were full of energy and happiness and cannot wait for the next school celebration!

在本次中国历史文化节日活动中,我向学生们展示了中国舞龙的三种形式:高空喷火舞龙,水底舞龙和地面舞龙,

让大家了解传统舞龙之外的更多样化的形式。继而讲到了有趣的舞龙传说,学生们知道了舞龙这个庆祝方式的来源以及它是如何沿袭下来的。

最后我们一起动手制作了纸杯舞龙,手工部分对于低龄段的学生来说稍显复杂和繁琐,但有了大孩子们和老师们的帮助,

大家都是聚精会神地沉浸在多彩的舞龙制作中。龙是中华的象征,是神圣的、强大的。而在孩子们手里,龙是灵动的、缤纷的!

We had a really great celebration on Friday at SIPC to welcome in the Chinese New Year period before the end of the

semester. It was full of interesting activities to help us all to learn about traditional Chinese culture.

From building clay lanterns to making dumplings, we all had lots of fun with the teachers, parents and students together.

The children also performed Chinse songs with traditional instruments for us all to enjoy. I look forward to the next celebration we can all share in.

Students were engaged and excited right from the start of the day. They jumped into each activity head first,

listening to instructions and supporting each other. Grade 4 really enjoyed mask making and building their own dragons.

It was nice for them to have a chance to work with Grade 6 in these activities, who were invaluble during

the dragon making activity. The afternoon performances were well done and very entertaining. We look forward to next year already.

在这次活动中学生们和我一起制作了中国结,对于第一次接触制作中国结的学生们来说,他们都对中国结的编制过程感到新奇和兴奋。

在编制过程中,学生们不断寻求老师的帮助并相互帮助,初中部的大孩子们也一改往日的顽皮,

不断协助低年级的学生们完成中国结的编制和装饰。在中国结制作完成之后,学生们的脸上都洋溢着开心的笑容。

It was delightful to see the children involved in such a wonderful array of activities for the Chinese New Year.

From making dragons to Chinese calligraphy, there was so much fun to be had. it's also important that even though

we want to promote the children to have a sense of global citizenship, and be aware of different cultures around the world,

it is just as important for the children to be equally appreciative, of how wonderful Chinese culture is. This was evident through a well organized, day of fun on Friday.

孩子们(和老师们)在制作粘土灯笼时都格外认真,有的孩子和老师找到了更加简单便捷的制作方法(窍门)和大家分享。

小朋友们需要帮助时会主动寻求老师或中学哥哥姐姐们的帮助,中学的孩子们都特别耐心的帮助小朋友们。

An outstanding event to celebrate Chinese culture was held at SIPC recently that showed a sense of community,

togetherness and enjoyment. Students were thoroughly engaged in the activities throughout the day from creating

lanterns with clay to making dumplings for their families. The event ran smoothly and transition periods between each

activity were on point which made it easier for the hosts to prepare for each activity for the next incoming group.

Middle school students were a great addition to helping out the primary students and the interaction between

the students was very positive which shows the strong connection among Chinese people overall at SIPC.

这是一次有意义的能够让学生们深刻体验中华文化的活动。

在活动的设计中,能够体现出教师的主导作用。开始活动前,每位负责的教师能清晰明了地解释活动所需要的素材和制作方法,

强调安全的重要性。教师们既会引,又善导,在活动过程中引导学生们进行手工制作的完成,

为低年龄段的学生提供半成品进行加工,鼓励和培养自信;引导高年龄段的学生对低年龄段的学生进行协助,宣导乐于助人的品德。

初中部的学生们在活动中能够发挥主体作用。学生们认真投入到春节文化工作坊中,积极主动帮助低年龄段的小朋友们进行手工制作,

特别是在““写春联”活动和“粘土灯笼”活动中,拿到活动素材时率先帮助低年龄段的学生进行作品的完成,

再在有限的时间内将自己的部分完成。在活动中体现了学生的集体观念,责任感和义务感。

整场春节文化工作坊能够调动学生最大程度的参与,激发了学生的兴趣,同时也体现了良好的思想品德。

这一次活动让我感触最深的的就是每个工作坊,每个活动环节的老师们都非常负责!不管是前期材料的准备,

还是当天活动的开展,真的得力于各位亲爱的同事,尤其是上午春节文化工作坊的老师们,她们组织了丰富多彩的春节体验活动,

让孩子们乐在其中。各班在做workshop的时候,初中部的大孩子都在帮助小朋友,哥哥姐姐们一改平时的顽皮,

从每个教室窗口看到的都是散发着天使光芒的画面,真的可以对SIPC的孩子们说well done!so proud of you guys!

下午的游戏环节到点以后大家都没有玩够,看来以后我们要多多准备这类活动,更好地展现SIPC所主张的“寓教于乐”的教育理念,让孩子们玩得更加尽兴呀!
